A-Z

Aggression

See Anger.

Air Bag

Air bags symbolize your lungs.

Air Blower

An air blower symbolizes your lungs.

Air Pump

Heart, circulatory system, emotions. See Pumps.

Air Vent

An air vent symbolizes your respiratory system and is common in dreams of asthmatics. If smoke is getting into the air vent the dream is asking you to cut out smoking or remove yourself from smoking environments.

Airplane

Airplanes being lofty, can indicate being up in your head or too logical with regard to how you go through life or with regard to the subject matter of the dream. Come down out of your head and let your heart have a say in decisions too. An airplane arrival or landing signifies your birth – your arrival onto the planet. An airplane crash signifies a difficult birth – one that was either emotionally traumatic or life threatening. An airplane departure signifies the beginning of a new project or phase of your life. Often these dreams show what is holding you back from the new project. For example, to dream of your partner forgetting your passports for the flight signifies there are problems in your relationship and you are blaming these for not taking the jump. A fighter plane indicates you are an angry person – ready with a verbal arsenal to win arguments and defend your space. The dream will likely say how this came about and will be encouraging you to soften up.

Airport

An airport signifies the start or end of a phase of your life journey. Arrivals commonly signify your birth and departures signify a new project. See Airplane.

Aisle

Dreams that draw attention to an aisle, particularly, but not confined to, a church, indicate you are a channel. You can communicate with spirits. Puns on the word aisle also indicate this.

Alarm

An alarm system is a symbol for the immune system. The immune system is constantly on alert looking for intruders (germs). Trying to reset an alarm can indicate MS (Multiple Sclerosis) or other autoimmune disease. It is thought that MS results from attacks by an individual’s immune system on the nervous system. Resetting the alarm is a symbolic attempt to restore the immune system to its proper function.

Alaska

If you have never lived in Alaska to dream of it means that you are emotionally cold towards yourself and others. You need to be warmer.

Alaskan Pipeline

An oil pipeline symbolizes that you are a hands-on healer. The huge quantity of oil flowing through the pipeline is a great source of power. Like the pipeline you have a source of power within you. This power can be channeled into others by placing your hands on them and letting the energy flow.

Alcohol

Alcohol is commonly referred to as spirits and can indicate your spirits or your spirituality. For example, a dream with a nail where the nail is on a bar stool is a pun on denial (the nail) of spirituality (bar). Drinking alcohol in a dream is about repression of feelings as drinking suppresses your sensitivity.

Alien

Aliens, the extra terrestrial kind, when helpful, remote, friendly or in authority signify your guides or guardian angles. They show up as aliens in your dream because you are not quite sure that you are the same as them. When you become more comfortable with the fact that you are, dreams of them as aliens will diminish. The only difference between you and them is their state of awareness and the fact that you currently inhabit a body. Aliens, when threatening, signify entities such as malicious spirits or illness. Going to bed in an angry mood can trigger dreams where you are fighting off aliens when you end up on a low level of the astral plane.

Alligator

To dream of an alligator indicates that you are either too assertive (your bite is too large) or the opposite; you need to drop your timid nature and stand up for yourself. You will know which applies to you. This dream is healing and intends for you to get renewed strength to get a grip on things. Sharpen your teeth and like the alligator do not let go once you have sunk your teeth in. You should only bite off in life what you can chew but the first part is also to be able to take the bite at life. See teeth for more. An alligator in a swamp represents your colon. Here the alligator symbolizes a health warning so look to the other symbols in the dream to indicate what you need to do to prevent it.

Amusement Park

An amusement park is healing for depression or a request to enjoy yourself. Parks symbolize your heart so an amusement park is trying to put a sense of fun and amusement back into your heart.
